Star Wars: Episode One in 3D (Mini-Blog Essay)
Darth Maul |
If you look past all the slight complaints I will say that the 3-D effects blend in well with the movie. Things seem to have more depth to it (well duh, isn't that the whole point) yes but some movies are in 3-D just to be in 3-D or to show off some kind of gimmick. "The Phantom Menace" in 3-D just adds something more to the whole movie experience. Certain scenes in the movie are just brilliant to watch and you get that "Oooooh-Aahhh" feeling while watching it. I noticed when Darth Maul is on screen they added some new background music kind of like a fierce or menacing (pun intended) chanting like sound which I thought was great. Overall it was really cool to watch "The Phantom Menace" in 3-D, I can't wait for the other movies in the saga to come out. Out of all the movies coming out in 3-D recently the "Star Wars" movies are perfect for this kind of format. So if you haven't seen it yet go ahead and make some plans to see it before it's too late.
