Jacket Weather (a Halloween poem)

The leaves are starting to fall.
Jacket weather is finally here.
A smile appears on every kid and even adult who refuses 
to grow up as Halloween costumes and decorations fill up 
the store aisles and neighborhood shops.
Classic horror movies splash on the TV screen at mid-night.
Ghosts, Goblins, Devils, and Witches.
Vampires, Werewolves, Mummies, and other 
haunting things that give us fright.
Entertain our fear of the unknown as 
we scream in delight.
