I'm not the kind of poet that writes silly poems about the rain or the weather. But that's a lie.

The grass is still wet from the rain. No cars or trucks are on the road. The moon is hiding behind a blanket of hazy clouds. All the small shops and local restaurants hang the familiar  "Closed" sign upon their doors.  While families rest peacefully in their beds a single porch light  shines on through out the night. Somewhere in the darkness a neighborhood cat roams about. The only sound outside is the calm and comforting  river current flowing by.

In the next few days or maybe weeks (depending on how much free time that Jenny* and I have) the Hound Dog Books website will be completely updated with a new design and other cool features that will knock your socks off .   Author's note: I was looking on the web for pics of a computer or something like that to put in this post and in the gazillion pictures of computer images and so fourth for some reason there was a picture of Kermit in a cowboy hat.  So I thought to myself hey why not just put the picture of Kermit in there instead of some boring old picture of a computer.  I'm sure it would grab more attention.  Thanks for reading.   *Jenny Newman is the official and out of this world talented website designer of Hound Dog Books.  Hats off to all the great work that she does , "Thank You".
