The breaking point is near. Time still moves. We stand still. Vacations are delayed. A change in perspective. A change unexpected. (And yet) the sun still shines above and the rain still falls to the ground. 2020 (a different kind of summer). The breaking point is near.

I'm not the kind of poet that writes silly poems about the rain or the weather. But that's a lie.

So the rain has stopped....for now. A trip to Wal-mart. A nice little drive. Yes!! the rain has stopped....for now. Flip flops, sandals, and crocs. Just a few drinks after 5 o' clock. The clouds are still grey but the rain has stopped....for now. The ocean waves crash upon the sand. A few more drinks and everything feels fine. Fine....Fine....Fine. And yes, the rain has stopped....for now.
